I appreciate that I may be new to MySpace and indeed the whole social networking thing; but I am shocked at how quickly the masses move. I’ve removed my friendship with Rebecca after she changed her picture to the “Find Maddie” image from the News of the World. It’s not a decision i took lightly, but I couldn’t have my page turning out to look like this >>>
The thing that disturbs me about this on the whole is that:
- Police and her parents have asked people to stop calling her Maddie as she will not respond to this name. She only responds to Madeleine.
- If you do see this poor girl, please call the Police or Crimewatch, DO NOT CALL a newspaper.
And, is it wrong for me to mention yet that maybe the parents were at fault for leaving a 3 year old alone for 4 hours in a holiday resort? i mean, “checking on her ever 30 minutes or so” is not really on. Infact, it’s illegal in this country i think. It’s why God invented Babysitters. Maybe it’s too soon to comment on that…
